Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website weddingbudgetspreadsheet.org (the “Site”) and the digital products offered by Soben (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “Wedding Budget Spreadsheet”). By accessing the Site or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase our products.

Digital products

We offer digital products, including a free wedding budget spreadsheet, a paid Ultimate Wedding Planning Spreadsheet, and a paid Budget-Saver Bundle (collectively, the “Products”). Products are delivered electronically as downloadable files or as links to cloud-based documents. Because the Products are digital, no physical goods are shipped.

Permitted personal use

Subject to your payment of any applicable fees and your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Products for your personal, non-commercial wedding planning purposes. You may make personal backups and print copies for your own use.

Prohibited redistribution

You may not, without our prior written consent:

• Copy, resell, rent, lease, license, sublicense, or distribute the Products;
• Share download links or cloud document access with others who have not purchased a license;
• Reproduce the Products in any public or commercial setting, including on another website;
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Products;
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Products;
• Use the Products for any commercial purpose, including offering planning services to clients.

Unauthorized use or distribution may result in immediate termination of your license and may expose you to legal liability.

Intellectual property

The Site and the Products, including all content, design, text, templates, formulas, and branding, are owned by Soben and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by us. Third-party trademarks or tools referenced on the Site (such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel) remain the property of their respective owners.

Payment

Fees for paid Products are displayed on the Site at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details. By submitting a purchase, you authorize Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the total amount shown. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated and may change without notice; any price change affects only future purchases.

Delivery

After a successful purchase, you will be redirected to a confirmation page with secure download links. Your files are also available in your account library on the Site. The free spreadsheet is delivered by email after sign-up. Google Sheets requires a free Google account; Excel files are compatible with Microsoft Excel 2016 or newer. We are not responsible for compatibility issues arising from your software, device, or internet connection.

Account responsibility

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Disclaimers

The Site and Products are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or Products will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Budget figures, category recommendations, and planning guidance are informational only and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Soben or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Products, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Products will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Product giving rise to the claim, or USD $20, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or warranties, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site and Products at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms end immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

Governing law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sweden for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Products.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
